Where have you been my whole life? You perfect oversized airy ALC trouser pants. Who knew I would find these ALC trousers from last spring at American Rag on the sale rack. Seriously, I thought the lovely lady who helped me was joking with me when she told me they had been holding onto them all season and just put them back out again. They were 75% off and I highly suggest if you’re looking for a good clean white baggy pant that you try visiting or calling American Rag immediately. They still have a few left on the floor.

This particular post is really capturing the essence of what I’m aiming for this spring with my wardrobe and personal style. I want to try something new and step away from all black and jewel tones, and move toward a clean color pallet with more neutrals and whites. Although I want to move more toward neutrals I will always play with fun bright lip colors.

Lastly, I want to add that 95% of my pieces in this post are styles that I have re-visited over and over again from previous seasons. The tee is part of The Reformation’s vintage collection and the LNA jacket is one of my best staple leather jackets from seasons ago. I will give you the heads up that LNA has an insanely gorgeous combination jacket coming out, I believe, this month.

Point being made, you don’t always have to wear current pieces. It’s good to revisit your favorites from previous seasons every now and then. It’s healthy for you and your wallet. I did link similar current styles above for those who want to get this look ☺. In case you’re wondering the doggie is just a passerby I came across.

OK, first of all – you are perfect.

Your hair is EXACTLY the color I’ve been dying to dye (heh) mine for over a year now, and the red lip…

oh! the red lip. Man. If I could pull that off half as well as you’d I’d be one happy gal.

Second, I’m totally digging the sentiment here. Wear what you have and make it work for the current season. I think it’s actually a good way to incite creativity – working with what you have rather than constantly buying new pieces (though buying’s fun too).

Can’t believe you got these gorgeoussss pants for 75% off. Super jealous. I’ve been OBSESSED with white lately, so I love love love what you’ve done here. Keeping it simple palette wise, but interesting in terms of structure and pieces is really such an effortless way to stay relevant without losing that effortless style.

    You’re so cool.
