Valentines Day. I have low expectations, therefore I am never unsatisfied with the outcome of my Valentines Day. A heart shaped card, a bottle of wine, red roses, this is all I hope for. Those are things I can share and exchange with a lover or a friend. That means the outcome of my day does not depend on the status of my current romantic state. Now back to the point of my writing the details of my outfit. This day has forced me to gather up every red, bright orange, and pink article of clothing I own. Planning a Valentines Day post forces me to combine colors and pieces I normally wouldn’t wear together. After scrimmaging through all my clothes that met the Valentines Day color code requirements, (red, pink you get it) I put together this look that I’m 100% going to rock again soon. This red Rebecca Minkoff blazer I’ve had in my wardrobe for quite some time now, and it’s my go-to in any instance where I feel I need some color. As you have probably noticed from my earlier posts I have a sick addiction to Equipment button-ups. They make up about 25% off the color in my wardrobe. I thought it was quite fitting that I decided to wear my Valentino shoes for this post. Cheezy, but fitting.
Saving the best for last, my boyfriend jeans. I have always been a huge fan of over sized tom-boy-ish jeans, but my boyfriend, not so much. When I got these J Brands this past month he saw me wearing them and didn’t think twice about telling me how much he loved them. FINALLY. The J Brand gods have made a pair of boyfriend jeans my boyfriend actually digs.
I hope everyone has the most perfect Valentines Day! XO

beautiful valentines outfit!!
I adore boyfriend jeans as well. This is a great outfit, I love the button down layered under the blazer
