It’s finally my favorite season, the season of music festivals. I’m still not sure what’s more exciting, the music or the carefree desert diva fashion. I can’t lie, I’m style stalking throughout the whole music festival, (for me it’s Coachella, closest to my home in SO-Cal.) but in all honestly I am very in touch with the actual music (and my clothes)!

Every year I find that playing with a more soft and neutral color palette, with easy, wearable basic pieces, makes for a more happy experience. When I put too much though into my outfits I end up being uncomfortable and distracted from the actual music. I like to be raw that weekend, which means earthy softer tones work better with my mood. I also like to mix and match separates and re-wear some pieces throughout the weekend, to make packing easier on myself. I usually choose a comfy boot or flat that I can wear the entire duration of the festival, and something that I don’t mind destroying in the muddy conditions.

This collage of Coachella inspired pieces is my actual wish list for the festival. I won’t be able to get everything on here but if I could have it my way these pieces would make up at least 2 of my outfits! I would wear the suit/shorts/sweater (when it gets chilly at night) together. I would also wear this airy dress and hat a different day, again throwing the sweater over it at night. The shoes and bag work with both looks, mixing and matching!
