A California Winter

Don’t be mistaken by my outfit, I am not an LA native. However, it may seem that way because I am indeed wearing fur in SoCal. After spending 20 years of my life growing up in brutal east coast winters, believe it or not my body quickly adapted to California weather. The way I feel now, 90 degrees is too hot, 76 means just perfect, 60 is freezing. On a cold California day we opt for our favorite dark denim and rugged booties, a basic tee or knit, a wide brim hat (because our heads get cold!) and lastly, the thing that keeps us warm: fur or faux fur. Seriously, props to all you kids in the snow I don’t remember how you do it! This Yves Salomon fur has gotten me through the past 3 winters in LA, don’t know what I would do without it. My favorite part of the outfit is actually the basic white tee. I have been looking for something a little more exciting to fall back on in the world of basics, and this is the one! Loving the cutouts on the shoulders, they hit in all the right places. I must admit when it comes to basics LNA always shows me something different that I quickly become attached to.
